Boon Edam and SITA Sign Framework Agreement
April 2012 - Royal Boon Edam International BV and air transport IT provider SITA have signed a framework agreement for the supply and purchase of Boon Edam’s self-service airport boarding gate, the Airport Swinglane.
SITA is the leading specialist in air transport communications and IT solutions, and is one of the airport CUTE (Common Use Terminal Equipment) platform providers that supply around 85% of the airports worldwide.

The new non-exclusive agreement will allow SITA to incorporate Boon Edam’s self-service boarding gate within their communications and IT solutions, providing airports and airlines with not only the delivery of a mechanical product, but also first line service and plug and play installation.
For over a year Boon Edam’s Airport Swinglane self-service boarding gate has been certified with SITA to work as a plug and play solution on its CUTE platform, SITA AirportConnect Open. The Airport Swinglane is the latest addition to the innovative airport specific product range offered by Boon Edam, a leading expert in security access solutions and world market leader in revolving doors.
